| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Septimius Severus facing right, depicted from behind, with the laureate wreath clearly visible and drapery across the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the characteristic provincial style of the Cappadocian mint, with bold, slightly rough engraving typical of eastern provincial coinage.
