| Beschrijving keerzijde | A standing female divinity, identified as Homonoia or Providentia, depicted facing with head turned to the left. She holds a globe in her extended right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm, emblems of concord and abundance. The figure is rendered in long drapery in the provincial Greek style, set within an open field without exergue line. The surrounding Greek legend, reading partially around the periphery, proclaims victory for the Romans, with alpha letterforms rendered as lambda and the final nu possibly as a mirrored И, reflecting the idiosyncratic engraving conventions of the Carrhae workshop. |
