Reverse description Two standing figures, identified as Titus and Domitian, the sons of Vespasian, depicted veiled and togate, facing front with heads turned slightly left, each extending a patera in the right hand in a gesture of libation. The figures are rendered symmetrically in the Hellenistic-influenced style of the Ephesian mint. The Greek mintmark ΦΥ appears in the lower field below the figures, and the encircling legend LIBERI IMP AVG VESPAS identifies the subjects as the children of the imperial Augustus.
