| Reverse description | Central Srivatsa symbol displayed prominently in the field, flanked by an axial pole surmounted by a solar disc above and a crescent moon below, referencing cosmological iconography common to early South and Southeast Asian coinage. Additional auspicious symbols are distributed around the central device within a plain inner circle, itself enclosed by a pellet border. The flan is broad and irregular, consistent with hammered silver coinage of the Harikela kingdom. The overall design reflects strong Brahmanical and Buddhist symbolic traditions of the period. |
