Obverse description Bare male bust facing right, rendered in a schematic Hellenistic style characteristic of Himyarite imitative coinage. The hair is depicted in thick, wavy locks swept back from the forehead, following conventions derived from Attic or Macedonian prototypes. The facial features, including the ear, are crudely but recognizably articulated in low relief against a flat, unadorned field. No legend or inscription appears on this face. The flan is irregular and characteristic of hand-struck South Arabian silver issues of the period.
