| Obverse description | Stylized facing bust in low relief, rendered in a highly schematic manner characteristic of early medieval Indian coinage. The design features a roughly circular central motif surrounded by pellets or dots along the periphery, suggestive of a degraded portrait derived from earlier Sassanid or post-Gupta prototypes. The field is flat and irregular, consistent with the crudely hammered fabric typical of Damma coinage. No legible inscription is present on this side. |
