Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Victorinus facing right, with the imperial radiate crown characteristic of the antoninianus denomination. The obverse legend IMP C VICTORINVS PF AVG encircles the portrait in Latin capitals. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy patination consistent with a low-silver billon issue of the Gallic Empire. The die work reflects the provincial style of the Cologne mint during the early 270s.
