The figure appears to hold an upright sceptre or staff in one hand, with the opposite arm extended, possibly presenting an olive branch. The composition is enclosed by a degenerate circular legend of garbled Latin letter-forms, largely illegible and reduced to pseudo-epigraphy, consistent with the unofficial imitative tradition of the Gallic Empire period. |
