Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the usurper Sabinus Julianus facing right, rendered in the standard late third-century imperial style. The radiate crown, a distinguishing feature of the antoninianus denomination, is clearly visible above the portrait. The effigy displays military dress with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The encircling obverse legend reads IMP C M AVR IVLIANVS P F AVG, distributed around the bust from lower left to lower right.
