In her right hand she holds a small Victory set upon a globe, and in her left hand she carries a long vertical sceptre. The reverse legend PAXX AVGG runs around the periphery within a beaded border, while the mintmark with the letter B appears in the exergue, identifying the emission. The composition is characteristic of late third-century Roman imperial reverse types, celebrating the peace maintained by the co-ruling Augusti. |
