| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Maximianus facing right, wearing the characteristic spiked radiate crown of the antoninianus denomination. The emperor is depicted with a short beard in the tetrarchic style, his paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder. The circumferential Latin legend runs clockwise around the beaded border of the flan. |
