| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Diocletian facing right, rendered in the typical late third-century Roman imperial style with a pronounced radiate crown denoting the antoninianus denomination. The emperor's portrait exhibits the military cuirass partially visible at the shoulder, with drapery across the chest. The encircling obverse legend in Latin capitals runs along the coin's periphery. The flan is irregular, characteristic of hammered antoniniani of this period, and the surface shows patination consistent with genuine ancient silver coinage. |

| Obverse lettering | IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS AVG (Translation: Imperator, Caesar, Caius Valerius Diocletianus Augustus. Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Gaius Valerius Diocletian, emperor (Augustus).) |
| Reverse description | Winged Victory, draped, striding to the right, holding a palm frond in her right hand and extending a wreath toward Diocletian, who stands to the left clad in imperial robes, holding a globe in his left hand and a sceptre in his right. The reverse legend VICTORIA AVG encircles the scene, with the mint mark TR appearing in the left field and the officina mark XXI in the exergue, identifying this issue as a product of the Tripolis mint struck to the billon standard of 20 parts base metal to one part silver. |
