| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Diocletian facing right, rendered in the vigorous late Roman imperial style typical of the Antioch mint. The radiate crown, composed of clearly defined pointed rays, identifies the denomination as an antoninianus. The emperor's portrait displays a mature, firmly modelled effigy with visible drapery folds over the left shoulder and cuirass detailing beneath. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border from lower left to upper right. A beaded border frames the entire obverse field. |
