| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Postumus facing right, portrayed with a full beard and characteristic thick wavy hair beneath the radiate crown, the paludamentum visible at the truncation. The effigy is rendered in high relief with vigorous, expressive modelling typical of the Milan mint's output under Aureolus. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the flan. |
