| Beschrijving keerzijde | The goddess Fides seated left upon a throne or chair, rendered in long flowing robes with drapery falling over her legs. She extends her right hand outward, holding a patera, while her left hand grasps a military signum (standard) planted vertically at her side. The reverse legend FIDES EQVIT — referring to the loyalty of the cavalry — runs along the beaded outer border. A mintmark is visible in the exergue, consistent with the first officina of the Milan mint. |
