| Descrizione del dritto | Cast oval bronze planchet displaying a single archaic Chinese ideogram (君, Jun) rendered in raised relief in the upper central field, executed in the angular, pictographic style characteristic of Warring States-period Chu coinage. The character occupies the majority of the upper face, its strokes bold and deeply impressed from the casting mold. An oval suspension or identifying perforation is present in the lower portion of the flan. The entire surface is covered with a thick patina of blue-green cuprite and malachite, testament to its ancient burial or prolonged exposure. |

The surface exhibits a granular, pitted texture typical of ancient sand-cast bronze, with pronounced blue-green patination across the entire field. The oval perforation in the lower portion is visible in continuity through the flan. The beveled edges visible on this face confirm the characteristic wedge-shaped cross-section of ant-nose money produced by the State of Chu. |
