Obverse description	Central field displays the arms of Zürich — a per pale shield divided diagonally, with the dexter half bearing a diagonal hatched pattern representing the traditional blue and white bicolor of the canton. The shield is rendered in low relief with the characteristic crude workmanship typical of hammered billon bracteate coinage. A small decorative element appears above the shield at the apex. The coin exhibits the irregular flan and uneven striking characteristic of small denomination hammered issues of this period.
