Obverse description Facing bust of the abbess rendered in a schematic medieval style, draped and veiled, with the veil falling on either side of the head in elongated folds. A beaded necklace is depicted below the chin across the lower neck. The numerals Z and VI flank the bust to left and right respectively in the field, denoting the denomination. The design is contained within a raised circular border, the overall composition characteristic of late medieval Swiss ecclesiastical bracteate-style coinage.
