Obverse description Lion passant to right with bifurcated tail curling upward, depicted in a bold, primitive late-medieval style within a smooth inner circle. The heraldic lion fills the central field, with mane rendered in stylized strokes and claws clearly articulated. The entire design is enclosed by a broad outer ring of large raised pellets forming a beaded border characteristic of hammered bracteate-influenced coinage of the period.
