Reverse description The central field bears a three-line Arabic inscription indicating the mint name Kostantiniyye and the accession year 1223 AH, with the regnal year numeral displayed prominently above, all enclosed within an inner beaded circle. Floral rosettes and foliate sprays are interspersed among the inscriptions and along the beaded border. An outer wreath-like border of stylized floral and leafy ornaments frames the entire design, consistent with Ottoman billon coinage of the Mahmud II era. The date 1223 AH (accession year) appears at the base of the central inscription, with the regnal year varying according to the year of issue.
