Obverse description Irregular, roughly circular flan typical of hammered Ottoman coinage. The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in square Kufic-influenced calligraphic script, reading the royal titulature of Suleyman I. The inscription, disposed across three to four lines within the plain field, identifies the sultan as son of Selim Han. No figurative devices or borders are present; the design is purely epigraphic, as was standard Ottoman practice for the akçe denomination.
