The inscription 'Sultan Shah Selim Ibn Bayezid Han' is arranged horizontally across the flan in cursive Naskh script, with the honorific 'Shah' rendered prominently. The coin exhibits the characteristically irregular, slightly oval flan typical of early sixteenth-century Ottoman hammered coinage, with the legends extending nearly to the rim. The surfaces show natural die flow lines and minor flatness consistent with hand-struck production. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Reverse field displays a three-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, comprising the mint and regnal year formula. The upper lines carry the pious invocation 'Nasruhu Azze' (May he be victorious) followed by the word 'Duriba Bi' (Struck in), with the mint name appearing in the central zone and the Hijri date 918 rendered in Eastern Arabic numerals in the lower field. The knotted 'Bi' ligature, a diagnostic feature of this type, is visible in the striking. The irregular flan and bold, slightly crowded legends are characteristic of the hammered technique employed at multiple Ottoman provincial mints during this issue. |
