Obverse description Central field dominated by the sultan's name and patronymic in flowing Thuluth-style Arabic calligraphy reading 'Murad ibn Muhammad Khan', boldly struck within a plain inner circle. The legends are arranged in multiple lines across the flan, characteristic of early Ottoman hammered akçe design. The lettering is deeply cut and exhibits the intertwined strokes typical of 15th-century Ottoman epigraphic coinage. The surrounding border consists of a beaded inner circle set against the irregular, roughly clipped edge of the planchet. No figural imagery is present, consistent with Islamic numismatic convention.
