| Obverse description | Central field bearing the Arabic legend of the sultan's name and titles in two lines, reading 'Murad ibn Muhammad Khan', with the AH date 825 inscribed above. The inscription is executed in stylized Thuluth script. The field is enclosed within a single linear inner circle, surrounded by a border of raised dots forming the characteristic Ottoman akce pellet border. The flan is irregular in shape, as is typical of hammered silver coinage of this period. |
