| Obverse description | Hammered silver field bearing the sultan's tughra-style Arabic inscription arranged in three lines across the flan, reading 'Sultan / Mehmed ibn / Ibrahim Khan.' The lettering is executed in characteristic Ottoman calligraphic style, struck on a small, irregularly shaped planchet typical of late akçe production. The surfaces show natural flow lines and die-shift consistent with hand-hammering technique. The coin's modest module and thin fabric are characteristic of the debased akçe coinage of the mid-seventeenth century. |

| Reverse description | Hammered reverse field displaying a four-line Arabic legend in Ottoman calligraphic script reading 'Azza Nasruhu / Darb / Dimashq / 1058,' indicating the mint of Damascus and the regnal year AH 1058 (AD 1648). The phrase 'Azza Nasruhu' ('May his victory be glorious') is a standard Ottoman honorific formula. The Arabic numeral date ١٠٥٨ appears in the lower portion of the field. The irregular, slightly scalloped flan edge and weak areas of strike are consistent with the hammered technique employed at provincial Ottoman mints of this period. |
