| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a multi-line Arabic legend occupying the entire field, recording the pious invocation and the mint and date of issue. The inscription reads 'Azze Nasrühu' (May his victory be glorious) along with the mint name Kostantiniye (Constantinople) and the Hijri year 1058, all struck in Ottoman calligraphic script. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped at the edges, consistent with hammered small silver coinage of the mid-seventeenth century Ottoman mint. No border or decorative elements frame the legend. Strike is typical of the period, with slight weakness at the periphery. |
