Akce - Interregnum Suleiman Çelebi

Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field dominated by the elaborately interlaced tughra of Suleiman Çelebi, rendered in bold calligraphic strokes characteristic of early Ottoman hammered coinage. The monogram fills the flan in a dynamic, angular composition typical of the Interregnum period. The legend identifying the emir is inscribed in Arabic script surrounding the tughra. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's irregular circumference. The strike is characteristic of hand-hammered production, resulting in a slightly uneven flan.
