| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborately interlaced tughra of Suleiman Çelebi, rendered in bold calligraphic strokes characteristic of early Ottoman hammered coinage. The monogram fills the flan in a dynamic, angular composition typical of the Interregnum period. The legend identifying the emir is inscribed in Arabic script surrounding the tughra. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's irregular circumference. The strike is characteristic of hand-hammered production, resulting in a slightly uneven flan. |
