| Obverse description | Irregular hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in the field, reading 'Sultan Hajji Giray' in stylized Naskh script. A prominent tughra-like emblem or ornamental finial device occupies the upper portion of the obverse field, rendered with characteristic vertical strokes above a horizontal bar. Decorative pellet ornaments flank the central inscription, serving as field separators. The legend is arranged in two or three horizontal registers across the flan, consistent with Crimean Khanate epigraphic coinage of the mid-fifteenth century. The irregular flan edge, typical of hammered issues of this period, shows natural planchet irregularities. |
