| Reverse description | Central field enclosed within a square or rectangular linear frame bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in naskh script, with the mint and regnal year formula arranged in horizontal registers. The Shahada formula ('There is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God') occupies the marginal legend surrounding the central square, while the central panel reads the mint name Quniya (Konya) and the date. Below the square frame, a decorative foliate or arabesque motif fills the lower exergual area. The layout follows the standard Anatolian beylik type with a clearly delineated central cartouche and marginal inscription band. |
