The tughra occupies the majority of the flan, with the characteristic looped and arched elements of the monogram clearly defined. A row of pellets appears above the tughra along the upper margin. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped at the edge, typical of hand-struck akçes of this period. The die is well-centered relative to the small flan. |
