| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip I (Philip the Arab) facing right, presented frontally with paludamentum and lorica squamata visible at the shoulder. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the characteristic mid-third-century provincial style, with a dotted border encircling the flan. The obverse legend runs in Greek characters around the periphery of the field. Two test cuts are visible on the lower portion of the flan, consistent with ancient verification of metal content. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Enthroned Tyche of Laodicea seated left, holding in her right hand a statuette of Zeus Laodiceus and in her left a cornucopia. She is flanked by two standing female personifications: to the right, the Tyche of Phrygia, standing right, holding ears of grain; to the left, the Tyche of Caria, standing left, holding a branch and cornucopia. This elaborate three-figure composition celebrates Laodicea's role as a regional neocorate center and its symbolic dominion over the surrounding regions of Phrygia and Caria. The reverse legend is distributed across the field and periphery in Greek characters. |
