Reverse description Dionysus stands upright in a biga drawn by two panthers moving to the left, holding a cantharus in his outstretched right hand and a thyrsus in his left. Before the biga, a satyr advances to the left with head turned right, carrying a pedum. Behind the biga, a second satyr advances left while supporting a basket (kalathos) on his head and holding a staff. In the background, a third satyr stands left playing a double flute (aulos), while a maenad stands left holding a tympanum; the reverse legend naming the strategos Glykon II and the city of the Germenians appears in the field.
