| Descripción del anverso | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder and the cuirass rendered in fine detail. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, executed in the high-relief provincial style characteristic of Pergamene civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. A beaded border frames the design, and the Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery. |

| Descripción del reverso | Homonoia type depicting Asclepius standing facing, holding his serpent-entwined staff (kerykeion), and Demeter standing facing, holding a poppy and a torch, both divine figures placed aboard a galley with visible oars along the hull. A helmsman is depicted at the stern, steering the vessel, symbolising the concord and shared cultic identity between Pergamum and Nicomedia. The composition is rendered in the ambitious multi-figure civic style typical of large-module Severan and Gordian-era provincial bronzes, with the lengthy magistrate and civic legend distributed around the field. |
