The imperial effigy displays elaborately rendered paludamentum and segmented armour, with the laureate wreath clearly visible atop the youthful portrait. The encircling Greek legend runs along the outer border of the flan. The bold, high-relief portrait reflects the accomplished die-cutting style associated with the Pergamene conventus workshop. |
