Reverse description A cult statue of Artemis Ephesia, rendered in the canonical xoanon type with arms extended and adorned with multiple rows of ovoids, stands upright within a biga drawn by two galloping stags moving to the right. The composition is a distinctive and rare iconographic type associating the Acrasian civic identity with the venerated Ephesian goddess, reflecting the religious and cultural connections of the region. The reverse legend, arranged around the design field, records the eponymous strategos under whose authority the issue was struck. The engraving displays the energetic provincial style typical of Pergamene conventus bronzes of the Severan period.
