| Obverse description | Draped bust of Kore Soteira facing right, head corn-wreathed and assimilated to the portrait type of Faustina II, wearing a necklace. The goddess is depicted in the divine guise of the civic patroness of Cyzicus, rendered in the provincial Greek artistic tradition typical of Mysia under the Antonines. The encircling obverse legend identifying her as the saviour goddess of the Cyzicenes frames the bust. |
