The portrait exhibits the characteristically strong, broad features associated with Caracalla's mature imperial iconography. A beaded border encircles the field, and the Greek legend runs along the periphery in capital letters. |

| Description du revers | Dionysus, god of wine, seated to the right in a biga drawn by two panthers, his figure rendered in a relaxed, divine pose befitting Bacchic iconography. In the background, three satyrs attend the procession: one beating a tympanum, one grasping the reins to lead the biga, and a third figure completing the mythological thiasos. The composition is dynamic and finely detailed, reflecting the high artistic standards of provincial Asiatic bronze coinage. The reverse legend, arranged around the periphery, records the name of the local asiarch and the neocorate status of the city. |
