She is flanked by two standing personifications: to her right, Phrygia standing facing right, holding ears of grain and a sceptre; to her left, Caria standing facing left, holding a branch and a cornucopia. The composition celebrates the Homonoia (concord) between Laodicea and Oulia, with Laodicea's neokorate status emphasized in the surrounding legend. |
