| Beschrijving voorzijde | Youthful, cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Commodus, laureate, facing right and seen from the front. The effigy presents the emperor in his early co-regency period, with carefully rendered military dress. The obverse legend encircles the bust in Greek characters. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central figure of Tyrimnos, the local hero-deity of Thyatira, standing facing, wearing a radiate crown, and holding a spear in one hand and a double axe (labrys) in the other. He is flanked by two figures, possibly representing co-emperors Marcus Aurelius and Commodus, each facing inward and holding a spear; the figure to the right also holds a patera extended over a flaming altar. The composition reflects the civic religious imagery characteristic of Lydian colonial coinage of the Antonine period. |
