| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, rendered from a rear three-quarter perspective, with the emperor's characteristic beard visible in profile. The paludamentum is fastened at the shoulder and falls in flowing folds across the chest, while the cuirass is articulated with decorative pteryges. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust in the field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The portrait is executed in the bold, high-relief provincial style typical of Pisidian civic coinage of the Severan period. |
