Reverse description Julia Domna, personified as Eusebeia (Piety), stands facing left at centre, holding a long sceptre in her left hand. She is flanked on either side by two togate youths, identified tentatively as Caracalla and Geta, each standing facing left and extending a patera in the right hand. The composition emphasises dynastic piety and filial devotion, rendered in the large-module provincial bronze style characteristic of Sardis under the Severan dynasty. The reverse field carries the Greek inscription naming the local archon Gaius Iulius Crispus and the double-neocorate status of the city.
