| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from behind, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and the cuirass detailed across the chest. The large, high-relief effigy fills the field, characteristic of the monumental provincial bronze coinage of Sardes. A circular border of dots frames the design, with the Greek imperial legend distributed around the periphery. The portrait displays the characteristic short beard and strong features associated with Caracalla's official iconography. |

| Reverse description | Two equestrian figures, identified as Caracalla and Geta, galloping to the left, each raising the right hand in a gesture of salutation or triumph. Beneath the horses, two barbarian captives kneel in attitudes of submission, their postures emphasizing the imperial victory theme. The composition is dynamic and monumental, consistent with the ambitious iconographic programs of large Sardian civic bronzes. A dotted border surrounds the scene, with the strategos and neocorate legend distributed in the field and exergue. |
