Obverse description Laureate, lightly bearded bust of Commodus, draped and cuirassed, facing right in three-quarter front view. The emperor is depicted as a young co-ruler, with the cuirass rendered in fine detail consistent with provincial die-cutting of the Pergamene conventus. The obverse legend encircles the effigy, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
