Obverse description Corn-wreathed and draped bust of Kore Soteira facing right, her features assimilated to the portrait of Faustina II, rendered in the provincial Greek civic style. The goddess wears a wreath of grain ears over elaborately dressed hair, and the drapery is arranged over the left shoulder. The encircling legend ΚΟΡΗ ϹΩΤΕΙΡΑ ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ appears in Greek characters around the bust, identifying the deity as the savior Kore, patron of the Cyzicene community.
