Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic Greek provincial style, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and the muscled cuirass visible beneath. The portrait displays the youthful features of the emperor with tightly curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The legend is arranged in a circular band around the bust, framed by a beaded border.
