Reverse description Zeus depicted standing facing, with head turned to the right, rendered in the classical tradition befitting a major civic deity of Asia Minor. The god rests his left arm upon a tall sceptre planted vertically at his side, while his right hand extends forward presenting the thunderbolt, his principal divine attribute. The full-length figure is rendered in a dignified, static pose consistent with the iconographic conventions of Hellenistic and Roman-period civic bronzes. The reverse legend, disposed in two or more lines around the field, identifies the issuing magistrate and the civic authority.
