| Reverse description | Youthful nude Dionysus standing facing, head turned to left, holding a filleted thyrsus in his right hand and a chlamys in his left. At his feet to the right lies an overturned cantharus, while a panther strides to the right at his lower right. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, records the name and title of the local magistrate Aelius Menophilos and the ethnic of the Kadoenoi, providing an important civic dating reference for this Phrygian provincial issue. |
