The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Mysian civic coinage of the Severan-Gordian period. The obverse legend encircles the bust in Greek script within a slightly irregular flan. |

Between the two deities, a lighted altar is placed centrally. The composition reflects the syncretic religious iconography common in Mysian provincial coinage of the third century AD. The reverse legend naming the local magistrate Aelius Aristonikos encircles the design. |
