The scene celebrates the fraternal bond between the two prominent Ionian cities. The reverse legend ΜΕΙΛΗϹΙΩΝ ϹΜΥΡΝΑΙΩΝ, identifying the issuing authorities of Miletus and Smyrna, is distributed in the field around the figures. |
